Mission
To place every dog with a family whose real, everyday life genuinely fits them.
Our story
We were not planning to build anything. We were trying to find the right home for one dog who had already been returned twice, both times by people who loved him and simply could not give him what he needed.
That was the whole lesson. The problem was never the dog. It was the match.
So we started doing it differently: living with each dog long enough to know them properly, writing honest profiles, and asking families harder questions before anyone fell in love with a photograph.
What drives us
To place every dog with a family whose real, everyday life genuinely fits them.
A world where people choose a companion by temperament and lifestyle, not by label.
Honesty before a sale, patience before a placement, and support long after.
Our philosophy
We do not organise dogs by pedigree, because pedigree tells you almost nothing about who will be asleep on your sofa in six months.
What matters is this dog: how much they need to move, how they handle noise, whether they seek out children or quietly avoid them, how long they can be alone.
Everything on this website is built around those answers.
Before you decide
A dog is a ten to fifteen year commitment. Here is what that really involves.
Walks, feeding, training and company, on good days and busy ones.
Food, vaccinations, grooming, insurance and the vet visit you did not plan for.
Especially in the first three months, while everyone learns the new rules.
Who cares for them when you travel, and are they comfortable with that person?
The people
Small team, long walks, strong opinions about dog food.
Founder
Started this after failing, twice, to find the right home for one stubborn dog. Still walks every dog personally before they are listed.
Head of Matching
Spent nine years in animal behaviour before joining. Asks the questions nobody else thinks to ask.
Care and Health
Coordinates vaccinations, vet visits and health records. Keeps a spreadsheet nobody is allowed to touch.
Family Support
Handles the first three months after a dog goes home. Answers her phone at unreasonable hours.
Happy families
No appointment needed for a conversation.
