Homie and Bestie Dogs
Discover lovable companions ready to bring happiness, friendship and unforgettable moments into your life.
Trusted by families
Every figure below is a home that got a little louder and a lot happier.
Why we do this
Some friendships start with a hello. The best ones start with a wagging tail.
A dog does not arrive as a finished thing. They arrive curious, a little unsure, and completely willing to love whoever shows up for them.
We spend our time getting to know each dog properly, so that when we introduce you, we are not guessing. We are matching a personality to a life.
Every dog here has been lived with, walked and understood.
We write what is true, including the things that need work.
Say hello
A few of the dogs who have been turning heads and stealing hearts this month.
Temperament first
Forget labels. Start with the character you want beside you on an ordinary Tuesday.
How matching works
We look at seven things. None of them is a breed.
A flat, a house or open land changes everything about who thrives with you.
Size shapes daily life more than most people expect, from car boots to sofas.
Calm, playful, gentle or watchful. This is the part you live with every day.
The gap between your pace and theirs is where most mismatches happen.
Children, older parents, other pets. The whole household has to work.
How many hours you truly have, not how many you wish you had.
First dog or fifth, we point you to the ones who suit your confidence.
Why us
No rushed handovers, no vague answers, no pressure.
Vaccinated, health checked and genuinely well looked after before they ever meet you.
We will tell you honestly if a dog is wrong for your home, even if you love the photos.
Every recommendation comes from that individual dog, never from a breed assumption.
Full history, temperament notes and care needs, written plainly.
We stay reachable long after your bestie has settled in.
Years of matching dogs to the right people, and the follow-up stories to show for it.
Maple
A true story
Maple spent three weeks deciding about us. She spent about four minutes deciding about the Sharmas.
The first meeting did not go to plan. Maple hid behind a chair for twenty minutes while everyone pretended not to watch her.
Then the youngest sat down on the floor, said nothing at all, and waited. Maple came out, put her chin on his knee, and that was the end of the decision.
She has been theirs for eleven months now. They send photos every few weeks, mostly of her asleep in places she is not supposed to be.
“We came looking for a dog. We came home with a member of the family.”
The journey
Simple, unhurried and entirely on your timeline.
Explore available dogs and read their real profiles.
Filter by lifestyle, personality and energy until it clicks.
Send an enquiry and tell us about your home.
Spend real time with your potential companion, twice if you like.
Take them home with guidance, and stay in touch as long as you want.
Happy families
Stories from the homes our dogs now run.
Moments
Unposed, unedited and mostly muddy.
Dog care
Practical writing on food, training, health and the first month at home.
The first week is rarely what people picture. Here is what actually happens, day by day, and why the quiet dog on day two is completely normal.
More is not always better, and running is not the answer to everything. A practical guide to matching activity to the dog in front of you.
Feed to the dog in front of you, not to the number on the bag. How to judge portions, space out meals and switch foods without an upset stomach.
Short sessions beat long ones every time. The order to teach things in, and why consistency across the household matters more than technique.
Flat living suits many dogs beautifully, provided you get three things right. Noise, routine and mental work matter far more than square footage.
Short, double, wire and curly coats all need different care. A straightforward guide to brushing, bathing, nails and ears.
